Timely reminder 👍 Took me a while to figure out the whole investment advice conundrum, it really is crucial to try and work through it yourself because everyone is different; different risk appetite, different time horizons, different income and different goals. It's incredible how many people just want someone else to do it for them, for all the major financial elements (loans, mortgage, pension, investing) and yet these are the most important things most of us will do in the financial space. The industry is designed to be opaque to encourage you to pay others (handsomely) to help you, but do a bit of research and you'll find the principles are quite simple.

I realized that taking out the money I've invested at some point of time was the best thing I could do - psychologically. The feeling of gambling went away and I was able to step back and relax. Even when buying dips now, I know I will at least take that amount out again over time without regrets.
