Cardano (ADA)'s cyberpunk mystery has taken a turn decidedly for the worse as the project launch is delayed by 48 hours. Perhaps more disappointing is that nothing so far has corroborated the theories that this will be anything more than an art NFT project.

I'm surprised that you've never mentioned the VR headsets present in multiple places (the Charles + cigar picture and multiple times in the promo video). To me that is a clear "indication that there will be functionality". I'm not saying development is even underway or that it will be successfully implemented (I'm protecting my Ada lobsters too!). But it seems that the vision is undoubtedly an interactive open world concept with VR at its core.

There is one huge point which I think you forgot to mention from the Cardano City video - “one NFT = one plot”. To me this signals that there will be functionality behind them, however, I appreciate the video! Definitely good to have all the info displayed like this in the midst of all the NFT euphoria out there!

Would you be open to giving me any advice? I've been thinking about turning my videos into NFTs. I basically have a retired Minecraft animation channel. Some of my videos have 10 mil+ views. I'm not even sure if video NFTs are possible on Cardano..

I'm not sold on NFTs at all yet, to me this is just digital provenance on easily replicated items. There are some better examples out there but nothing that gets me excited yet. I'd like to see someone truly innovating within the broader ecosystem and offering deeper functionality. The Cardanocity art is quite nice but speaking as a one time 3D designer it's not too hard to make, and so far not showing much imagination - if they are building a whole world why not tease a few more aspects, in fact having created the model for this unit it would be super easy just to run off more angles, closeups, extra details to keep the anticipation building. If the project really is a decent size I would expect multiple milestones, further teasers and failsafes. Judgement well and truly reserved for the moment.

I like how you went occam's razor there. Well reasoned...Ravenclaw!!! The cyberpunk metaverse would be the best, but I've still got that metaverse itch though. is it time? Cornucopias game??? They have a proposal for Catalyst fund 6 (voting starting October 7th) to help develop faster and most of the Cardano community hasn't heard about them. I promise I don't work for them :) I just want a Cardano metaverse. I'll leave you alone about it now...maybe.

i like nft but the problem is when you buy them you got to resell them at some point .. buy one for 14 ada then ada moons and then you have to sell at 3 ada .. i find nft like stickers ok when your kid but out grown as you age ..

I agree... Imo that's is a graphic designer and cardano lover creating this 1st class art. Unfortunately I don't believe there is any technology behind
