While I love the Telluride, I'd take the Palisade for its interior, superior headlights, and now that Hyundai is adding complimentary maintenance for 36/36k, it's adding even more value. You can't go wrong with either one, though.

Who else knew the Telluride would win?

Kia Telluride is the ride for me. Love em as well as its sister Hyundai.

Have owned a Palisade since Labor day weekend, and have 10k miles on it so far. Honestly love the car and how it drives. Makes road trips a breeze.

Id do the palisade over the telluride. Looks more luxurious inside and out, has a fully digital dash, and does not force you to get blacked out wheels on the top trim.

The final result didn’t surprise, it was either Palisade or Telluride. However, starting Feb, Hyundai is throwing in 3year/36000 maintenances free. Could be the deal breaker. 😁👍

This is what I really disagree with. The Telluride and Palisade are similar as expected but the Palisade offers more value at the top end and more features for the same price. Yes the exterior of the Telluride looks better to most people so you used an extremely subjective category to choose the winner instead of objective ones. Now as far as buying your own vehicle yes it is a consideration, I'm trying to decide which of the two to get. Also you should note you can get a Palisade under MSRP you can't with a Telluride.

If anybody is reading this comment, please take note that we are the proud owners of a 2020 Honda Pilot Black Edition. We traded in our 2019 Toyota Highlander SE and couldn’t be happier. We considered all of the other options in this segment, plus a few other larger SUVs. For example, we browsed the Subaru Ascent, Chevrolet Tahoe, Volkswagen Atlas, etc. But every time we looked at the other vehicles, we continued to return to the Pilot each time. I really don’t understand why people say that the Pilot is dated, because honestly, it has more technology than anybody could ever use in an automobile. For example, our Pilot comes equipped with heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Garmin navigation system, digital speedometer, rain sensing wipers, and a foot-activated tailgate. Our previous 2019 Highlander didn’t even include Apple CarPlay, which is a shame for such a nice vehicle. Our Highlander was also included in Toyota’s massive fuel pump recall, and as far as I know, Toyota still has not released a remedy for this issue. Visibility is great in the Pilot, mainly due to the massive rear window and surprisingly helpful pane of glass in front of the front mirrors. We couldn’t see well out of the Toyota at all. The front mirrors were too large for the size of the SUV, which along with the lower seating position of the vehicle and the absence of the small window pane in front of the mirrors, created a rather large blind spot. I hope that this is helpful to anyone browsing midsize SUVs. We are a proud Pilot family!

For 3 row SUV, the answer is ALWAYS the Acura MDX for best bang for buck all around :)

I think the Palisade is more attractive than the Telluride. But I acknowledge that’s the less popular opinion among reviewers.

I am still prefer Explorer, you can get incentive to reach Hyundai price. I just love Explorer as a overall package.

I can't believe you guys didn't wait for the 2020 Highlander to shoot this review.  Are you guys kidding?  The Highlander is one of the leaders in this segment.  I am disappointed you guys shot this review without it.

SUV stands for Sport Utility Vehicle that's why, still the Ford Explorer for me. Interior wise easy to live with.. More sporty looks on it. Drive handling is top notch. Well that's my opinion, just stating the fact. Test drive all and you can experience what I'm talking about. Only the Cons I see is the price.. But I want the ST version of it.. Drive Safe always guys..

The Telluride and Palisade offer incredible feature content for their price, let alone are high quality vehicles. They should sell like hotcakes and show the other manufacturers who is boss. Price matters some of the most when money is tighter for younger families.

I went to my local auto show and finally got a chance to see the Hyundai Palisade and the Kia Telluride in person, and there were so many people over there. I can see why these crossovers are so popular. They honestly aren't as big as the cameras and pictures would seem.

Great comparison, Honda is not what it used to be in a bad way while Hyundai/Kia aren’t what they used to be in a good way! Micah is the best!😸😻😸

Sorry, I disagree. Even if you think the Palisade looks worse than the Telluride there's no denying that the Palisade is cheaper, comes with more standard features, and comes with arguably the best warranty in America. In the face of all that, you' be a fool to buy the Telluride on looks alone. Not to mention that the Palisade was literally developed by Genisis which is why it looks like it costs 20g more than it does. The Palisade is the better deal.
