Got a Q7 last month after evaluating Tesla Model Y, Lexus RXL 350, Genesis GV80.

Tesla Model Y was more of a settle. Though the self driving features are really advanced, the second row is not even spacious as my Camry and the third row is practically unusable. There was no inventory available as well.

Lexus RXL 350 - No panoramic sunroof. The third row is small, the dash and cockpit are really outdated.

Genesis GV80 - True luxury at its best. You get the feeling that you are sitting inside a luxury car. The only downside was the small third row. It is suitable only for kids and a small adult cannot fit in. The popularity of the brand among the others was another concern for me.

Finally Audi Q7 45 Premium Plus with Executive Package- Love the car. There were not a lot of options to choose from, considering the pandemic. The seats are very comfortable and the drive is a pleasure. Most spacious third row. Got the black exterior with a mocha interior. The executive package adds ambient lighting inside, beam lights, ventilated seats, wireless charging and a bunch of other stuff. Absolutely amazing!!

Q7, Aviator, G80, MDX, X5 (not on lisst), XC90, Discovery, RX would be my order of want

Just got the Discovery, so far so good. I’m still learning about the car and feel it can do more than I know. Coming from an Audi Q5, I do still recommend Audi and the Q5/Q7 but am excited for a change. The compactness and convenience of the Discovery makes it perfect for city driving actually, as well as off-roading (still need to experience but being from Vermont and living in Colo for 15 years, I know something about it). I anticipate the car doing well.

aviator owner here, the driver's seat is insanely comfortable. i can drive for hours and not feel a thing

The Volvo should be the safest its got frickin Mjolnir in the headlights.
I prefer the GV80 the most for what you get and the price you can't beat it. The interior is so nice absolutely no clutter even the vents are hidden. They did such a nice job with it that it almost looks boring compared to all these cars with buttons and knobs everywhere

Had a Q7 for for years and just ordered a 2022 Audi Q7 Prestige. Can't argue with the Aviator and Genesis option though. It's all personal preference. Not a fan of the BMW or Lexus.

It surprises me that the Bmw x7 didn’t get mentioned in this list, because honestly in my opinion it is much better than an Audi q7. (The Bmw x7 starting price is about 77, 000 usd as in 2022 so take that in mind)

For starters the audi q7 third row legroom is much smaller (maybe like 5’5 and below could fit decently in the q7) and I believe trunk space is also noticeably smaller.

also to get in the Audi’s third row you have to manually 2 step completely fold the 2nd row seat and move it out of the way just like the general motors full sized suvs, which gives you more space to get in, considering it is already tricky to fold it if you have a baby seat in the 2nd row it would be a pain in the butt to take it out every single time you use the third row,

while bmw offers electric assist 2nd row seats which don’t fold completely so you don’t have to take out the kids chair or accidentally crush one to death which still leaves a fair amount of room to get in the third row.

Bmw also offers a lot of extra stuff with packages like a light up panoramic moon roof, two heated and cooled cup holders if you ever wanted to have meatballs and ice cream together for some reason.

Bmw also offers the cold weather package which gives you 5 zone climate control | driver, passenger, both midrow sides and third row the package also comes with all heated seats including third row.

You also get standard a mini third row moonroof only the shade opens which reminds me, the q7 sunshade has a transparent look which can be bothering because it lets the sun in and there’s no way of blocking it, the Audi also has sooo many piano black materials in the front cabin which basically means fingerprints everywhere which I’m sure most people don’t like.

Bmw also has available electric rear windows sun shades and finally bmw is much nicer with people who have to ride in the 3rd row because they get their own already mentioned little moonroof, leather materials, ambient lighting and available heated sits with their climate

This aren’t all the differences with these two great luxury German suvs and I honestly kinda took bmw side in here as it is my preferred, I don’t say the q7 is bad in anyway (we’ll maybe the third row) I would say if you got the money just get the bmw x7 as it is more expensive (like 25k apart) but you could see them both and choose the one that matches your needs as Audi got some stuff bmw doesn’t have and viceversa.

The Navigator isn’t the predecessor of the Aviator, that implies that the Aviator replaced the Navigator. Both are still for sell. I just got the 2022 Audi SQ7 today, it is amazing!!

The Aviator is my fav hands down. I felt sexy in it. Perfect acceleration. Beautiful interior. Strong body. A lot of mechanical issues so I traded it in for an RX. RX drives divine but I don’t feel happy to drive it.

Aviator for me all the way no question asked I’m gonna wait 1 more year price goes down I’ll get one used for like maybe 55k cash I know new ones coming out but I personally like the 2021 design it’s very very elegant I love it when you drive aviator is just different is very classy
