honestly, it doesnt make sense why players arent given the option to move the camera further away (along with a lot of other QoL updates that we've all been demanding for in the past 3 years *ehem skip dialogue button ehem*)

i tried this on a random long-necked dino and it worked even during combat or after quest cutscenes, it doesnt change back to normal distance unless you exit the game

I did that accidentally with Kinich in a domain. It quickly resetted though.

I hate the fsct the camera automatically go so close, it makes sick tbh, i hate having the camera so close

There is still the camera bug that can increases even more

We can get a camera further back but no way to skip dialogue and cutscenes… ugh…

There is much better way than this even if you exit the game & go back it will not reset😂

You can change camera in settings so you don’t have to do this
