Dumb question but when you use a unison preamp, are you only controlling the level from the plugin? Or do you need to concern yourself with the level using the knob on the Apollo as well for the preamp? Theres also an output knob on the plugin. I find this all confusing. Some plugins also have a fader and an output knob.

What do I do when I don’t have enough plug in space for preamp on my Inserts for my mic track. Is it safe to use some UAD plugins on console and on the DAW at the same time?

I just realised the version of auto tune I have can only be used in my daw. am I able to use the pre amp inside my daw? And if so do I put it at the start of the chain I’m using ? I’ve got an Apollo twin but I only use the console to monitor my levels the console is on mute all my auto tune and reverb come from the daw (Logic Pro x) where I’m able to turn off all the plugins and just have my raw vocal if I want to
