I heard that depending on which female character you choose to upgrade the most/use in combat the most, that will dictate which female character joins you on the snowmobile ride. It's very interesting, especially since the dialogues are unique. I tested this with about 2 or 3 playthrough's and it seemed to be the case.

Now that I'm older, this game's allegory was like a slap in the face but when I was young the whole thing "whooshed" over my head until the end. I was about 12-13 and I think it was the perfect time to experience such a masterpiece.
