I found it interesting they added another low level zone, I found leveling to be super smooth/easy first time through. Probably a great update for a first time player, but as someone waiting at 25, I’ll keep on waiting for my mountain biome

Some enemies can now jump on obstacles. Perhaps they will learn how to use ladders in the future.

The main thing in this update is the opportunity to customize clothes and new building blocks.

I hope they will add the ability to put items from the inventory anywhere and a mannequin for clothes and stands for weapons.

I bought the game last week, and have been playing it nonstop since.
I was aware of the blackmire update, but thought it would be the last biome i should explore (much like the ashlands in valheim)
Im very pleased that its a low level biome, and that i can explore it earlier than anticipated. Very excited to try this out when i next play it

I was happy to be able to change my outfit, but there wasn't enough to do to get back into it. I didn't feel like grinding resources to build anything new.

The games being fleshed out with updates like this and the hallowed halls so the level is appropriate to the zone you find them in rather than being a high level area plopped into a current midgame area. Doesn't make sense for a fully released game but enshrouded is indev so while it may not be everyones cup of tea it does make sense.

🤣, too funny staying poisoned on death so you just keep dieing at your flame altar until poison debuff expires even though you died.

I'm pretty much in a holding pattern on enshrouded. There is just not enough to do once one gets end game gear. Sure one can play in the sand box and make something neat, but that's about it. They need to add something repeatable to the game that can be accessed mid to late game and provide a decent enough reward to be worth doing. Perhaps they could add a trader NPC that sends the player off on missions and gives out a currency as a reward. One could use this currency to purchase armor/weapons/building blocks without having to farm in specific zones.

On another note, base building needs a bit of a rework or expansion. Short of making a box to house NPC, crafting tables, and raise comfort level there is not much reason to play with the building system. Making neat looking bases is fun and all, but perhaps they could add in block types that raise crafting table speed or the like. There should be an incentive to try different blocks other than pure design choice. Perhaps don't even tie it to blocks, they could add a buildable that transforms a room into a certain type of work center.

The main problem with the game, to me, is that there is a lot of things in it, but with very little depth to any of it.

I played this to death and now concentrate on building which to me is the reason I still play the game non stop. When it is fully released I will play by through with a new character

Update is great. No complaints so far. Except that Blackmire shrine. I hate going up there. 🤣So, I did the quest again from a dedicated server and just flew above. haha! Win.

The new biome looks great and brings new building blocks for those who love building, which is a plus. However, the biome is small, and there's very little to do in it, so it probably won't be more than a minor footnote in your travels. Hopefully, they will add more to it and expand it.

Another disappointment (at the moment) is the new NPC, the bard. There's not much going on with her besides the instruments, only one cosmetic set, and now making backpacks has been moved to the bard. I hope they will add more songs, cosmetics, and maybe even more instruments, or introduce instrument-based weapons like a one-handed lute, dual dagger tambourines, or a staff harp, for example.

The main highlight for this update in my opinion is the dual daggers and the armor cosmetic. From the testing I have done so far, dual daggers are not a 1-to-1 replacement for single-handed weapons, but they are close, so yes, they are viable and worth using if you are going for a range/stamina build.

With the testing I have done so far with dual blades is that yes strength nodes from the skill tree do not effect dual daggers. However, any other nodes that increase any type of melee damage like the warriors path, slasher, thrust, butcher, etc do effect dual daggers and yes even veteran.

Moving backpacks to the bard was a mistake in my opinion. It would make it alot harder for new players to upgrade their carry amount

Itd be cool if our weapons could show on our back when we aren’t using them. I feel like this is an outdated game design as most games have this.
