This is a great video. I'm currently battling 40 years worth of buckthorn growth on a property I just purchased in Illinois. There is no easy fix, just keep plugging away at it.

Minnesota Implement has the answer. Just pull the whole tree. The have pullers have 10, 000 pounds of gripping pressure and depending on the tractor, skid steer, or bobcat.

Which herbicides are best for dauber application (dabbed around the perimeter of the freshly cut stump)? Which herbicides are best for spraying on freshly cut stumps?

A field brush mulcher would take care of your problems

Can you spray in spring? I thought the sap is flowing and herbicide will not work.

We just spray hydrochloric acid all over our vegetation here & then when it rains, it just washes all away into the river! No need to worry about the contamination because it’s a small village & everyone here uses well water, It’s perfect👌 it’s a barren desert now no more pesky buck thorn or trees for that matter.🌲 🌳

Pull bearer is a complete joke except maybe if you want to plant or create an unobstructed trail or other similar access. Otherwise it is a stupid use of your time and energy. Never seen any real progress using them given the time and energy people commit to using them. Limited application tool and if not applicable has no place in your arsenal.
