This is exactly what I needed to hear. This constant cycle of physical activity -> body rushing up -> collapse -> slowly regaining energy has made me crazy so many times. Especially in the rushing up part, my mind wanna figure out a way for the body to relax, but fails, and then becomes even more frustrated and stressed. I guess I need to become indifferent to all the bodys symptoms and accept them as they are

Thank you, this helps me feel a little more like there is something I can do. I have been having adrenaline dumps every day for 2 months and have been worried I will die. It helps to know I'm not alone, and they can be controlled.

This Video has helped me come out of a 3 day adrenaline dump. I feel physically drained and could sleep for a week....but I feel good after watching this. I'm not the only one and I will be ok! Thanks for the upload its really helped. Peace and Love

I've dealt with cfs for almost 2 years and I never knew the adrenaline surges were related! I actually have enjoyed the excitement and feeling inspired and energetic, but I always end up paying for it when it wears off. This is so incredibly helpful.

I developed a hypersensitive nervous system due to long covid and I get the adrenaline dumps quite frequently. I'll be sitting down quite calm and all of a sudden get a burst of adrenaline. Or I'll be lying in bed and get sudden random spikes in my heart rate. It's a challenge not to panic about it and to just try and stay calm. I'm working on that everyday. Before long covid I always had a slow heartbeat and would never be aware of my heart rate or adrenaline levels so its really weird for me to feel it so often. I also have chronic pain. I know this is all linked to a glitch in my nervous system and I'm working on calming it everyday. Miguel your videos have given me so much hope and I'm so inspired by your cfs journey!

This information is invaluable. I couldn’t imagine going through an adrenaline surge for days, let alone hours 😯. It’s remarkable how you were able to separate your mind from your symptoms. I’m at that place now but thankfully, my symptoms are not as severe as what you went through. Sometimes I am able to do it but ugh. Watching you gives me so much hope and that’s everything. I am so grateful for you and your content ❤️🙏

So happy with this video! This has been my main issue since becoming completely housebound/couchbound after years of pushing through. It does feel like going crazy, I would even feel relief when 'crashing' because at least I would feel calmer. It's impossible to get out of this cycle without the right information so i'm really glad to finally learn all this about the nervous system. I can now see my friends/do some shopping etc. once in a while and actually enjoy it, even when feeling weird sensations, knowing that if I take enough rest afterwards it'll be okay. Thank you for your work

Wow yes!!! I’ve totally noticed the cyclical nature of this - and actually I had about 2 months where I was very wired and highly anxious right before my crash

Super helpful video as I’m experiencing this right now as I write this and was freaking out!

Miguel - I have many CFS symptoms, but they are secondary to a chronic disease. Your videos are very helpful and applicable to managing many other chronic ailments. Thanks!

This was really helpful thank you. I’ve been struggling with adrenaline rushes in anticipation of something I’m excited about (which is almost always something I’m doing which is out of my window of tolerance and so will result in a crash). I know the obvious way to stop this is to quit pushing and crashing but it’s really hard. My mind is racing like, “you shouldn’t be doing this- you’ll pay for it later” and obviously this only fuels the adrenaline more 🤦‍♀️ anyway thank you for this video, helpful as always!

Grateful to have found your channel! I've not found anyone else who experiences this and have felt alone in it for 15 years.

Wow! Every video I can relate to. Understanding it really helps. I'm so grateful. Recently, when I was going through a bad case of covid, then long covid, my therapist wanted to dx me with bi polar. Listening to your videos makes my whole life make sense and everything I'm still coming through. Amazing content 👌 thanks for your hard work after you went through it all. Helps people like me who have been lost in the medical world most of my life. I'm so grateful to have found your channel. And your group. 😊❤❤

Like a number of other comments, I get adrenaline rush before doing something towards the boundaries or over my baseline.I found CBD gummies help on these occasions. Now I know why as I’m taking a step back and not worrying as much.

Thankyou for this video Miguel. I asked a question about this and it never got posted. Can you please tell me is this a good thing ? Part of an adjustment period? I hate them I always freak out. My last adrenaline rushs was after a wedding that I had a great time no symptoms. 4 days later the rushes started they lasted nearly 5 weeks on and off I got hardly any sleep. I had a complete melt down. 2 weeks ago. I wish I handled this better. I'm ok now I'm just alot more tired.

What you describe is basicly putting mindfulness into praxis. Don't do, just watch. Which is the best you can do in this moment.
My mind goes super excited when the energy is coming back, overestimating my body.
To notice that and not act on it is so crucial to getting better. It's a work in progress for me.
Listening to energetic music is something that works as a substitute for physical activity for me. I can handle that well and it's actually fun

I get these from early morning to late evening. They are what wakes me up. Long Covid symptom. I am losing lots of weight from this because my body is too jittery to eat. It makes my upper body feel so heavy. This is horrible! I hope they go away soon
