It broke my heart to see how disappointed she was in herself when she thought she couldn't do it...
Children are so precious.

If a child made a painting of me like that, it would be framed and over our fireplace. It's perfection!

I honestly think Aikas painting is the best painting I've ever seen a 4 year old do. I loved the detail and surrounding John with hearts, butterflies and flowers is so sweet. This program is so heartwarming.

Not only is this experience good for the children it is also good for the old people. Back in the day the older generation played a large role in the life of their grand-kids. In this day and age a lot of the generational family nucleus has been lost, it is good to see that at least here that importance is being recognized. Our older generation is a treasure that should not be squandered.

This is the best thing our society needs. Every preschool needs this.

“I’m allowed to make mistakes, and still be loved.” I wish every child on 🌍 felt this. It is transformative.

So cute to see how toddlers interact with elderly people

The clinical psychologist narrating this segment was so spot on saying this type of reinforcement lets a child know, "As a child, I'm allowed to make mistakes and still be loved.

And that's a very insightful, candid, intrinsically perfectionistic young girl (meaning she yearns to express her creative vision, what she views as ideal and beautiful or does justice to her sincere appreciation of a subject, but is not yet experienced enough in any medium of communication or dexterity to achieve her grand vision). She seems highly-sensitive and aware. It's natural for a child like this to have big emotions and to be critical of themselves - this gentle support is so good.

What a sweet little girl and it's cute no matter how old boys get they still get flustered when a girl cries.

My mother told me that while my grandad never got to enjoy his childhood, when he was with me and my brother he could forget everything and just play. He didn’t have any responsibility, just had to have fun, and I think that’s something everyone deserves, regardless of age! I think you forget in time, and children can bring back the joy of just playing
