I’m happy to see the younger generation stand up for our basic rights.
Human rights cannot be taken away.

What happened to teaching our kid’s government in school & law. Having mock trials & teaching about our country & the Declaration of Independence & the amendments etc. No child should leave high school and not know the rights of every citizen.

So we can learn about the constitution in schools but it doesn’t apply till you’re 18 and out of school. Sounds about right lol

Obviously, this account does not support Donald Trump in any way. But a student carrying a flag or a bumper sticker of a politician on their vehicle is protected speech. The student should not be forced to remove the flag. Some found the flag disagreeable, of course, but we all have to learn how to disagree with one another in a democracy and yet still continue working together. Students disagreeing should not be considered "disruption" and the student...and other students...should be allowed to show their support for whichever candidate they support. The courts will give schools broad discretion in these matters, that doesn't mean that they should use it every time however.
