I made hot chocolate for my in-laws yesterday. They were like wow, how long have you been making hot chocolate like this? From scratch is so much better than any pack. I never would have reqlized if my kids didnt have so many food allergies. Ive been making my own for 5 years now and i drink it year round 😂

I make something similar. I mix all the dry ingred. together first. I add spices. Then mix in a little milk to make a paste. Then wisk in the rest of the plant milk.

My ‘fancy hot chocolate’ that I can actually afford is a packet of Cadbury hot chocolate powder mixed with a Maltesers hot chocolate fast pack thingy (with the tiny marshmallows), some hot water and a bit of milk after mixing it. That’s fancy in my house 😅
