I have a question for the “Doctor Who” scholars, which I have always been curious about.

Do the weeping angels turn from stone into flesh of some kind when they are not being looked at? Is that what gives them the ability to move, or do they remain as stone indefinitely and just drag along the ground at lighting speed.

I ask this because the doctor says they have the most perfect defence system which “turns them into stone”
