Love the fact that even tho he wasn't looking at the angle it could not move because we, the viewer, are looking at it. It only moved when we couldn't see it in the dark and when he blinked.

This short is even better because when he’s fixing the panel HE isn’t looking, but WE are. Only when he turns off the lights and we, the audience, can no longer see the angel does it move. Extremely consistent with the canon

What i love about them the most is that they're usually still when on-screen even if the characters aren't looking, which implies that us seeing them counts as well

One thing i absolutely love about weeping angels is the fact that as a human you are pretty much hardwired to flinch or at least blink when getting scared, so when an angel is like an inch away from you and you get jumpscared you are just guaranteed to get touched up. Another thing is the fact that actors were talking to the prop angel statues, thinking they were the actors in costume while there were others who tried to move an actor thinking they were a statue in, as i understand it, every set that had weeping angels

Explanation: Weeping Angel refers to a type of monster with the capability of sending others back in time by touching them. They are unable to move while being watched by any living creature, including their own kind, and are turned into stone while an observer's eye is on them. So when that guy turned off the light and wasn’t looking at it, it moved closer to him. Once he blinked in fear it was able to move close enough to him to touch him and send him back in time. I’m guessing wherever his house was used to be a forest so the Weeping Angel sent him back possibly hundreds of years.

Fun fact: in doctor who, while the weeping angels don't directly kill you, they are considered deadly because anyone who is touched by an angel is found dead soon after. They send you back in time with such accuracy that they die of old age at or near the moment they were touched. So in one scene, a victim is sent back. And in the next, they find such victim again, now extrememly old and decrepit, and they happen to die of natural causes around this point.

It's funny how they are considered the scariest Doctor Who monsters. But in all honesty, as far as Doctor Who monsters and their antagonistic intentions go, they are rather merciful to let you the opportunity to live a full life out.
