Strategies to Enhance Exam Preparation: Mistakes to Avoid and Solutions

1. Problem: Indulging wholly in self-made notes, repeatedly throughout the preparation. Not solving PYQ.

Solution: Solve PYQ after completing notes.

2. Problem: Not maintaining regularity and wanting quick results.

Solution: Make a dynamic timetable that you can follow for 5 to 6 months. Take your time and believe in the process.

3. Problem: Only giving mocks without understanding the topic. Not analyzing the mock results.

Solution: Analyze mock results and understand your weaknesses. Point out where your number is decreasing. After completing the whole syllabus then attempt mock tests. Use them as an asset to increase marks.

4. Problem: Daily spending time in Current Affairs.

Solution: Read only Monthly/Fortnightly (15 days) Current Affairs. Don't waste time in a Current Affairs marathon.

5. Problem: Gathering up every study material (PDF) from every sir.

Solution: Read and focus only on one book. Revise it wholeheartedly.
