This was great help to me. I have old cassette tape recordings from the 1970s that are in mono; but sometimes there was dropout on the left or right side of the poor quality audio tape. I've tried to figure out how to fix this for a long time and you helped me! Thank you!

Thanks so much, I was editing video segments contributed by several participants, some came in as mono, others in stereo. I used your work-around to change them all to stereo. Ding! :)

Thank you. I recorded a podcast using Zoom and it split my channels which sounded horrible. Spent hours in Adobe Audition trying to solve the problem and then Garageband for another hour. You saved the day :-)

I recorded a long (almost 2 hours) hypnosis session into voice memo and realized it was stereo in 1 channel. So now I can run it through garage band and it sounds great 😊 I’d like to record straight into garage band, but I can’t find dependable info anywhere as to how long it will record. I can’t have it cutting off in the middle of a session

Thanks for the tip. I tried doing it and still sounded off. I changed the setting to “invert left and mono”……sorted it right out if it helps anyone else! Using temp equipment at the moment and it’s so fussy so needed this info!
