Does anybody remember the "Alabama Teabagger?" After the Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the LSU Tigers by a score of 21-0 for the 2012 NCAA BCS Football National Championship at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, an LSU fan passed out drunk in a fast food restaurant on Bourbon Street. An Alabama fan, 33 year old Brian H. Downing, "teabagged" the drunken and unconscious LSU fan and was later arrested. On the day of his trial, he was able to reach a plea deal that dropped the SxBa charge that carried a possible 10-year prison sentence, and instead pleaded guilty to an obscenity charge and was sentenced to 2 years in prison. The victim also sued Downing, the restaurant, and it's parent company in civil court for "mental anguish, humiliation, embarrassment, anxiety, depression, damage to reputation, and lost tuition payments" after withdrawing from school, but I can't find the results of or any monetary demand/payment from that case. I'd say the act of "teabagging" is probably shunned in most places.
