I would keep The One Above All as an ambiguous character/being, because the one above all doesn't need to be flushed out the same way The Presence was in DC comics.

Ambiguity is a powerful tool to be used in storytelling. It’s why people watch these videos, why people want “more”. They don’t want answers, they want the possibility of answers, they don’t need explanations for every single thing, they don’t want stories to be started, worked out, and completed…you can start a story, play with it, then when you are about to close it up into a nice little package, just don’t. Don’t explain the ending….there is a reason “happily ever after” is powerful. It’s because we can make up our own answers and endings, without it matching anyone else’s.

If ppl are intrigued by TOAA it is only coz he has immense power and very little is known about him. If we had one book which will explain all about him, then the excitement dies in that book only. He will be mentioned in vids like TOAA vs superman or goku or something like that.

I agree man, I’d love to see this happen because I’m one of the people who would start reading comics if it was easier to follow/catch up. Even with all your (and others) videos and articles it’s hard to access.

As always exceptional video Rob. I'm a little scared of a Marvel Reboot. I'm very invested in a lot of the characters, I've only been back into comics a little over a year (was a 90's comic kid before that). Seems like such a waste of stories....

Alot of videos on the Marvel 2018 relaunch, butI just gotta say, cause most people dont see it yet, but DC is also doing a relaunch in May!! Justice League: No Justice is reshuffling Justice League, JLA, Titans, Teen Titans, and Suicide Squad rosters. Batman is also relaunching(in a way). Yaah, Tom King is still writing, but its a big status quo shift with Batman, him being married and happy. And finally, Brian Michael Bendis run on Superman starts with Action 1001 and relaunch Superman 1.
How is this a relaunch and not just a change of creative teams? Because it all starts with DC Nation 0 with a cover price of 0.25$. Remember the last time DC published a super affordable book to get you caught up and give a preview of the things to come? Yaah. It was DC Universe Rebirth.

I'm so glad you mentioned 'Anthropomopho' and the "Quasar" comic, as that comic (and its writer, the late, great Mark Gruenwald) defined Cosmic Marvel Comics back when I was a regular reader of such.
