What I like is that the lenses are 63 mm apart. That's significantly further than on the iPhone 15 Pro. This means that the depth effect extends further into the distance.

FINALLY. I have Acer 3D stereo monitor from 10 years ago, byt they abandoned now, on modern GPUs it supposed to be golden era of stereoscopic. Very excited that someone made it. If they can make it like 3Dvision and it can works with different games and support quadbuffer stereo for professional applications it will be mindblowing!

I'm wondering if the canon 180 stereoscopic / 360 VR Cam will even see the light of day.... - any news on this side? Apple with Blackmagic and the 180 lenses and the RF-S 7.8mm F4 STM Dual Lens for EOS R7 will probably steal the show for this little canon 180 stereoscopic and 360 VR Cam - it was announced nearly a year ago at the ibc.

Wow, just WOW! The camera is very competitively priced! I didn't know another company was going to give others a run for their money like this! I'm kind of glad I never invested in the older Insta360 180 3D camera. I really wanted something that had some better specs and at a consumer level. Now, I of course will wait for a review, everything looks good on paper, but I need the Hugh seal of approval. This is very promising :)

I used to be into shooting 360 video, but I've found in my viewing of said video, I am often not looking behind me, because I'm seated when I view. And I don't often seek out a swivel chair to take advantage of a 360 shot. 180 3D is just so much more immersive, and though I know there is 360 3D, again, I don't take advantage of looking behind me as much.

A couple quick questions. Do you know if this camera takes still photos? Also, did they mention its low light performance?

$549 is not bad. Curious about the cmos size and if hdr is available. I believe the camera size is due to making interpupillary distance close to human for better 3D effect

What are the correct Moon Player settings for this video on the Apple Vision Pro? The only thing that works for me is Mono, VR 180. None of the stereoscopic settings work in Moon Player. 😢

ON the Asus web site it says their 3d is built on "SR" ah it has to be LeiaSR... which is a good thing I love my lume pad 2....
