Easy way to install springs on a trampoline

I am 67 and my son is 30. When I couldn't stretch get the springs fastened I asked my son to help and he had trouble. I went to the garage to find something to make the job easier when I seen his caulking gun lying on the bench. A caulking gun is a ratchet and by using it backwards, as seen in the video I was able to hook all the springs with no problem and even by myself. There is another video here that shoes a guy hooking springs with a screwdriver. This is somewhat deceiving because it only works well when most of the tight springs are hooked. My ratchet system will hook the hardest springs.

Mine came with a tool. Handle with a 90 on it and it works great.

This is clever, but I've never had a problem using the little hook they include. Lol 🤷🏻‍♂️

easier to use one of the other springs till u get to the last then use caulk gun of anything with a hook and attach the spring to the other side, near the trampoline, then pull it into the frame.
