5 Rules To Win Monarchy VS Republic Debate

In the great chess game of political debate, we monarchists must be the players, not the pawns.

We wield a legacy that stretches back millennia, traditions that have stood the test of time, and principles grounded in stability and unity.

As we push forward, let us remember: our heritage is our strength, our history our guide.

All that matters is victory, and we, dear listeners of TMC, have the tools to achieve it.

👑The Monarchist Channel is exploring the history of monarchies as well as status of monarchism in the World today.

This is a pan-monarchist channel, which means it does not focus on one country or one royal family or one monarchial tradition alone but on the world-wide monarchist cause.

On this channel we will refrain from taking sides in major dynastic disputes, because the hope is to unite monarchists rather than divide them. In France, for example, the monarchist cause has long been bitterly divided between the supporters of the “Legitimists”, “Orleanists” and “Bonapartists”. We don't do that here.

I also invite non-monarchists for a healthy and open-minded debate.

Enjoy the channel and I look forward to speaking to you in the comment section!

I lean more and more towards monarchy as democracy slowly fails

I’ve recently been in an argument about monarchy vs republic with my friend after he saw my “Proud to be a Monarchist” profile picture on WhatsApp.

What I’ve found is shocking yet unsurprising from this argument. Any republican does not even know what they are fighting for, I’ve been giving factual information about now and then vs monarchy and referrals to referendums, truths about monarchy, misconceptions and various monarchist channels such as this. I’ve easily answered every one of his questions about monarchy with conviction and certainty.

Now when he tried to defend republics and democracy he is giving me ‘textbook definition’ about what republics/democracy should be and he is heavily ideologically motivated.
He kept on saying “oh monarchy is outdated-why should someone be born into privilege-I can change my leader-it’s unfair to be born rich like that-they always commit oppression.”

None of which are confined to monarchy and some are untrue.
These republicans don’t know what they are defending they are just entitled, more so than any monarchist or monarchy.

I'm a republican (I think republics is preferable to monarchies, but I'm not against monarchies), and I find your video interesting, it's true that having a bad faith opponent during a debate who don't know what they are talking about and juste swear at you is useless to debate with, I'm sorry for all the monarchists who debated bad faith republicans

I think that if you are a monarchist and want to debate with a republican, the republican will be of bad faith because there's a lot of "anti-monarchist propaganda" (I'm from France and even if my history teachers were very neutral when teaching, our books shows the french revolution as the greatest thing happening in our history and the event that made France what it is today, and we don't learn about the reign of terror or the bad sides of the revolution until high school)

I have a question what are good arguments against the free stuff arguments especially with people being dominated by a “me me me” culture

TMC, you're putting all anti-royalists into one bag. And it contains:
Liberals
Christian democrats
Libertarians
Anarchists
Syndycalists
Communists
Fascists
National democrats
Socialdemocrats
And many more I don't know of.

If you think about it, Monarchism has the mathematical advantage over Democracy. One person must be smart for Monarchies to work, but Democracies need most people to be smart. And one person being smart is more likely than most people being smart. That's something to think about.

I would join my monarchist party in Austria, but these are exactly those people that want free stuff.
Half of their program are climate goals and the inclusion of all immigrants. That's the opposite what i expect of a strong country and strong monarchy.

7:21 not necessarily if your opponent comes up with a bad argument and you’re able to easily discredit it then follow it up with a strong counteroffensive related to what they said it will set the tone to the audience

I’ve lived with the monarchy system 40 odd years, I have lived with the privilege of the English speaking world, I’ve had every opportunity to succeed and enjoy life. Why would I want to change something that supports the life I have thus far enjoyed.

Monarchy is a marathon not a sprint.

All people don't have to be staunch monarchists, but they should at least stop adoring and idealizing the republic. Or to be fanatical republicans and anti-monarchists. Whoever is a republican (today, unfortunately, most people) hates and condemns the monarchy; who is a monarchist so often hates the republic. There is no reason for that. The fact is that ideology alone will never solve all the problems that country has. So, for example, if there is high corruption, crime, poverty and X other problems, changing the regime and state establishment (from monarchy to republic or vice versa) alone will not solve those problems. Monarchies are mostly made to work better, and they often work well. But that doesn't mean that changing the republic to a monarchy will solve everything (sure, it CAN almost automatically bring SOME positives, but it won't be anything major).
Yeah, republics are not better and many do not work very well, they do not ensure a better life or justice (in the most cases the opposite is true). European monarchies have best systems and the best standard of living, same the asian monarchies. And that's fact. 😋 It's shame and for me also sad that monarchy/monarchism is often demonized, full of prejudiced and mistakenly associated with feudalism, aristocracy/nobility, religion/theocracy, etc.

Even according to statistics, monarchies work better and have better almost everything, they are ranked first (indices of happiness, wealth/economy, safety, etc.) and constitutional ones are more democratically stable and functional than republics; more free and peaceful. The same goes for Asia, just look at the Middle East, the only states that are peaceful, stable, rich (etc. etc.) are monarchies, the republics are in terrible conditions there.

Monarchy and republic can both take many forms, positive or negative. However, the monarchy has better conditions for to be better and the best. I don't like this dogmatic, fanatical (extremist) republicanism (or democratism and liberalism) and the prejudices against the monarchy. Let's look at the south of Europe (except Spain), the Balkans and Eastern Europe, the poorest and most problematic countires of Asia, almost all of Africa, Latin America (ie Mexico, Central and South America) = all republics and in terrible conditions... People should stop adoring the republic and associate it with something right, free and better.
If we want monarchies, debates are mostly useless... at least ordinary, private conversations. Rather, it is necessary to support monarchism, slightly modify (objectively specify) civics and political sciences (also in schools) and promote monarchies and monarchism. Its values, advantages, etc. Literature (authors, books, textbooks), culture/art, pop culture, movements, polit. parties and organizations, financing of monarchist associations and the spread of monarchist ideas and support for the very perception of the monarchy - and the process of monarchization (of the country). Popularize the monarchy, rid it of prejudices and assumptions, highlight it and its qualities, change people's (nation's) subconscious, awareness/knowledge and view and mind. In almost every democracy (unfortunately) everything is mainly about popularity...it is actually quite sad that governments, heads of state (and governments), but also entire regimes and state structures stand on something as unstable and non-objective as the popularity and opinion of the majority. Everyone can be (or become) a monarchist, believer, atheist, history buff, dreamer, scientist, practical person, communist, socialist, liberal, capitalist, but also a supporter of autocracy, aristocracy, theocracy or even feudalism, republican, nationalist, separatist, etc. Do not make them enemies and adversaries, do not insult their beliefs, rather try to understand them, make them allies and make the monarchy more acceptable or likeable to them... to become supporters of the monarchy themselves (regardless of what monarchy and for what reasons they support it). Many monarchist movements in many countries needlessly antagonize all people, even some monarchists. Because they take a defensive-offensive stance, argue, impose their beliefs, etc.
Sorry for long text. 🙃I just wanted to write this and brevity is not my forte. 😅

The argument of the cost of monarchy is redundant .... the cost of presidential elections and the salaries and pensions and security if past presidents is a multiple of the cost of monarchy....

I stand with my republic. Constitutional republicanism is a stronger hedge against decadent leadership than monarchy.

Every time in the past, anti-monarchists have always pointed to North Korea as being the modern absolute Monarchy and I have always stopped when they bring that up. I watched your video of that argument but I don’t find that enough to go off of.

Thank you for this video TMC I will definitely study this more thoroughly so I can advocate for monarchy as well in future :)

Have you seen this video “Refuting Misconceptions about Monarchism” by Lavader

He explains every single one of a republican’s concerns regarding monarchy and with a single hand silenced every other cry from republicans to come. Everyone in the comments section either converted to monarchy, further strengthened their belief in monarchy or laughed at the republicans after already knowing these truths about monarchy 😂

5:03 most people are nonIdeological if someone you already know is a Republican then you can change their mind unless they are already ideologically committed

to say only debate people when there is a audience and not to try to change their mind is foolish
