I believe TC's bitterness comes from being turned down by the CIA. After this rejection his father told him to go into journalism. But lets be clear, he only has a BA in History (pretty much a bachelor of attendance 😂) so he definitely isn't a real journalist, and now he's been fired from the last major network there is. Nice presentation. Assuming he's under contract terms, how much will he cost? Buying out a non compete and avoiding damaging Fox may not be a great deal in the long run. He's unlikely to be free to compete without consequence, and considering what he made per year, seems pretty fair.
