I got up to 365lbs. Felt hopless, it can be very difficult but it's possible. I'm down 112lbs. I understand how hopeless you can feel while obese. But ultimately it is your choice.

The only way that obesity is not a choice is for children. They in fact don't choose what they eat in most cases. But once you are grown enough to make your own choices, it is a CHOICE to be obese or skinny

I love you Coach, but I can’t watch the rest of this video. To hear people blatantly lie and tell themselves that eating only grapes, lettuce, and water still allowed them to be overweight / obese is the definition of insanity. Your information is ALWAYS on point, they need to watch your videos and buy your frickin cook book

She ate 3000 lettuce heads a day with 40 tablespoons of salt

The grapes were grape flavored sweet tarts

Im obese. I've been working on myself the past couple of years. Almost out of the obesity range. Down 60lbs. While it's a choice, there are many factors. It's about diet education, mental health, upbringing, and willpower. It's difficult to overcome, and I wish people the best on their health journey, whether they're skinny or obese. Get active, try to achieve better heart health, and the rest will fall into place.

If you are predisposed to being obese, you should still take steps to mitigate it. 30 lbs overweight is healthier than 100 lbs overweight and 100 is healthier than 200.

I've watched my niece who was trying to loose weight get knocked by her mum and sister as she lost weight! The lack off encouragement was horrific. They wanted them all to be fat and say it's not possible too not be fat as its genetics.. parents have a lot to answer for

Coach Greg is the reason I lost 120 pounds. As much as people hate him his advice on weightloss it’s spot on. I took his advice on calories and in 2 years lost all the weight with minimal loose skin from weight training. Truth hurts and people need to not feel sorry for themselves and get active. I post videos on tiktok to motivate people too you can’t tell people it’s okay to be fat. It’s good to encourage people to better themselves and not be okay killing yourself

I was 5 foot 10 and 225 pounds about 10 years ago I thought the same thing. I can never lose weight but when I made an effort to try, it came off super quick and The motivation to continue was caused by seeing the scale go down. It is possible.

Grapes and lettuce with a jar of peanut butter as condiment would make you gain weight.

Being fat is a choice, I've been fat for almost 5 years due to my mother's passing. Thankfully, I've lost weight this last few months. I went from 75kg(when everything started) to 100kg to 82.3kg (as the writing of this comment). Next week I'll start going to the Gym (once again), but this time I'll stick to it because I really need a change in my life. Not physically but mentally too.

I know it's hard to take the first step, but when you have the will to do it, you'll archive great things <3

For a long time people told me how well I carry weight, because I'm tall 6'3". It wasn't till I found coach Greg that I committed to loose weight that I realized how harmful those comment were to my health.
Body positivity is good, however when it encourage you to be unhealthy it's harmful; I just don't understand how this is allowed to continued. Thanks coach, and others like you trying to help us see this is wrong. 👏👏👏💪

"IF YOU CAN'T GET THE CALORIES OUT, DON'T GET THE CALORIES IN"

I have lost about 80lbs so far with rheumatoid arthritis and can confirm this to be true. It may be very difficult to exercise as much as other people but I can still keep track of my calorie intake😅

My husband runs marathon after marathon on top of being an avid cyclist, so he can eat a WHOLE lot more calories than me. It's not unfair, he just needs a lot more fuel than I do🤣

Happened to me. I had a terrible diet growing up due to what my parents would get. Fast food was the norm and there was no such thing as a portion haha just eat whatever and however much you want. When I turned 16 and was able to drive, I made a choice to go to the gym everyday single day after school and on weekends. There was no YouTube so I had to teach myself everything. I remember getting Arnold’s Encyclopedia for bodybuilding at Barnes & Noble and that changed my life. The gym became my safe haven and was a door to a whole world that I fell in love with. NOBODY in my family worked out or ate healthy. I had to turn down pizza and eat my salad in front of everyone hahaha I was an outlier but didn’t care. I never weighed myself because I wasn’t worried about the number on the scale. I was addicted to how I felt and the respect I was getting in the gym plus the attention from women. I was the fat kid from 3rd grade all the way to my junior year. I was so tired of being fat and wanted to lose weight for junior prom so I can get a fly suit, but then I just got addicted to the healthy lifestyle. My senior year was the ish and that CHOICE to change my lifestyle was the best decision I ever made.

In 2019 I was drink up to 30 beers a day and weight 260lbs of fat beer bloat. My liver was getting inflamed and I wasn’t doing well…I said no more and made a choice to change. I got two Siberian Huskies and started walking with them everyday. New Year’s Day I quit drinking(ween down 3 2 1 was worried about GMS.) changed everything in my life and got down to 195. Now I’m 220 working out eating healthy. You can see my pic on the thumb nail and sometimes I believe it’s a dream. I did step on the gas in 2022 thus the 25lbs gain.
