Oh, how I so wish Claudia and Madeleine had stayed gone. I know they missed Louis and Armand, but they would have had at least a fighting chance if they'd stay out of Paris.

This scene was perfectly executed!

It shows Armand’s cunning deceit and ruthlessness. He’s able to sit them all down, sit alongside them, put them at ease…and then pull the rug from underneath them! This is the Armand of the book. In the film version of Interview, Armand is shown to pitifully ignore the pandemonium taking place during the abduction and sentencing…but here…here he plays his hand carefully. And it makes us—the audience—despise him even more given the fact that Claudia apologized to him and was willing to leave Louis to Armand. Brilliant writing! Brilliant acting! And the sense of foreboding that the writers and showrunners evoked leading up to the abduction sends chills.

This scene felt devastating... I haven't read the books or seen the old movie so I didn't expect it, but I felt so devastated to realize that Armand was nearly as bad as Lestat in the end. 😭 Poor Louis went from bf #1 lying, cheating, manipulating, abusing him (to the point he literally had to plot his death to escape) to bf #2 betraying him. I know everyone in this show is supposed to be horrible in their own ways, but I loved Armand up until this point 😭Since they were still together in the present I was so hopeful.

This scene is so heart-wrenching! This is the first and last time we see Claudia
