Not Bought In - Everyone wants to be successful but not everybody is willing to invest in making this a reality. To be bought in means to embrace the idea of doing everything required to achieve the success you are looking for. This could be anything from skipping parties to enduring a grueling training regimen.
In It For The Wrong Reasons - You can’t have surface level reasons for success or else you will have trouble mustering the motivation to work for what you want. If you manage to achieve what you want you will struggle finding happiness in your success. An example is wanting to be a musician in order to be famous instead of a genuine love for music.
Not Taking Risks - Your comfort zone is the enemy to success. Successful people understand that in order to move up the ladder you have to jump for it. Success will rarely be handed to you. Be willing to take a risk in order to move up the ladder of success no matter how afraid may be.
Familiarity With Uncertainty - You won’t always know the right answer and you won’t always know the best decision to make. These situations can be scary because we crave control. We want to know for sure that we are making the right decision. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case. In times like these success trust their gut in the face of uncertainty and have faith that things will work out in their favor.
Shameless - Some people are afraid of looking stupid which impedes their success. When you are ambitious and striving for success you can’t be afraid to put yourself out there and risk making mistakes.
Seek Opportunities - You have to be hungry for opportunities that can elevate you to the next level. Do your research and stay up to date on trends going on around you.
Successful Social Circle - They say that you are an average of the 5 friends you hang out with the most. Successful people surround themselves with driven and motivated individuals that help keep them focused and driven themselves.
