David, as a girl once traumatized by a psychopath and who literally started seeing the face of Ted Bundy on all men's faces, you are one of God's greatest miracles.

I'm not married but from my perspective if a marriage was based only on feeling then it would not last very long

Still can't believe David Wood made my close muslim friend an ex-muslim without me ever mentioning David Wood videos to him. Lol.

I know someone said it on the last video but this is great way to navigate marriage. Far too often it's heard that people divorce because they've "lost that spark" yet here we have David who has only known marriage without all of those "fuzzy feelings" so it's no excuse really.

Aren’t we all defective in some way? None of us is dwelling in our glorified bodies as of yet, but one day ... and then every abnormality will be erased. Praise God.

bro these are so good! This is such a great "extreme case" to demonstrate to us the reality that Love is action.

it doesnt matter if youre a "diagnosed psychopath"...when youre a true christian, you experience a renewal of your HEART and MIND

The existence of psychopaths throws a big question the way of those who think that morality only requires empathy... Interestingly psychopaths are extremely useful in certain situations, and often become decorated soldiers because of their ability to handle bad situations, displaying what regular folk would call bravery and cool-headedness.

on a minute. I need like...a whole video around this marriage. How did they meet? How did David realize this woman is "The One" and what does love look like in a marriage so unique? Would love to hear his wife's side of their "love" story as well. Like....I'm invested now, LOL. This is a major cliffhanger.

I have aspergers and 100% understand him when he talks about copying how you should feel in emotional situations. I’m not a psychopath, sociopath or narcissist but aspects of psychopathy do apply to me. I struggle with empathy. It’s like there’s a huge, blank void there with me in the part of the brain that deals with empathy. I simply cannot put myself in someone else’s shoes. I draw a blank. No doubt Christ doesn’t love me any less for that but it’s something I’m lacking nonetheless

A marrage must be centrerd with a promise. It should never be feelings* centrerd but feelings will come into play. Dont follow your heart, lead it.

I almost envy him, being a woman I often find myself frustrated by my flesh and struggle to die to being led by my emotions. Or being deceived by saying I love someone when it's just words. He does love, and he knows when he loves because it's always followed up by an action. Faith without works is dead.

Love is a behavior made by a decision, not a feeling.

I feel like David Wood's condition really helps him get down to the core of morality and help people realize the truth about it. One of the first debates I always think about when I hear about David (other than the infamous Mohammad Hijab debate) is the debate where he crushed Matt Dillahunty due to Matt having to make several contradictory claims about where morality comes from.

Never been married, and I've spent more of my adult life as the "unlucky in love dude ", but have to say relationships can't last on the whole "lovely dovey to of feelings ", and if i was married I would not expect that . It would be also unrealistic and naive to think so too !! Relationships period are difficult ! 😉

I have got ADHD and I did not develop my emotions quite well. It's a different mental disorder but I understand what DW is saying here. It's hard for me to feeling emotional with the gospel and loving my fellow brothers in Christ because I grew up in a very cold family having ADHD. In fact I convert to christianity by reading apologetics and studying the scientifics origins of the universe and the Fine Tuning of the universe. I understand the gospel and I believe in him but I'm having problems feeling it in my soul.

One question, when David smiles or laughs, is it because he feels sense of happiness, or is it just an outward smile?

I've been watching David for many years now. If there's one thing I know for sure, is that he's ALWAYS BEEN consistent. GOD literally knows what he's doing.
