The angler fish came up because it was either sick or dying when dying or sick it forces them to swim upwards towards the surface

guys if you didn't know an oarfish is a type of fish that warns everyone that a disaster is about to come and it's very rare that you will spot any and here's a story about a man that found an oarfish a man in japan found one of a oarfish and later that same day an earthquake and a disaster comes and now it believed to be to be named a doomsday fish

Alright now I can tell you about anglerfish…….


Anglerfish have a bioluminescent orb extended from their spine. The orb is called an esca which helps them hunt or find a mate.(I will talk about their mating, it’s very unique.) They use a sit and wait tactic by dragging themselves across the ocean floor barley moving their fins to conserve energy. Then a small fish might come along and get too close, so then the anglerfish dash forward with extreme speed and leaving no time for they can escape. Not sure how much they eat but they can eat up to double their size. A female anglerfish is about 3.3 feet long meanwhile male barley reaching a foot. So this means females can eat fish up to 6 in a half feet long.Yes, they might be becoming overpopulated because they have very few predators and they might even be able to eat their predators because of their expandable jaw and stomachs. And we do not need to by scared they don’t eat humans.

Anglerfish mating is unique. Like I said in the first paragraph the females also use their esca to attract a mate. And males one foot size will come in handy because the male bites the female near the stomach. The male releases an enzyme that melts the females skin, and then the male and female share blood and stomachs. Because after that the male depends on the female for nutritions and survival while he also lost his eyes because the won’t be needing them anymore, and they can never detach. And in return the male fertilize her eggs. Also one female might have six or more mates attached to her.

These sea creatures might be become overpopulated because they have been around for 130 million years while humans have only been here for 200, 000 years, so they have had more time to adapt to earth. Also they have survived the meteor ☄️ that made the dinosaurs go extinct, the Great Ice Age 🧊, and the PETM (which is where the oceans and the entire Earth unnaturally hot and killed 35-50 percent of the animal population.) And yet, they have still survived.( I forgot to mention this but anglerfish visit the surface to check what is going on on land so when the people are seeing the anglerfish appear it could be a false alarm.)(And also you might think they were taking over every ocean٫ but they are not they just adapted to every ocean and every part.)

This is because of evolution, not because of the end of the world, but some of these marine animals could be dangerous if messed with and from a other short I watched it could be from the tides changing from the moon each year but still not a threat.

Angler fishes go to the top of the sea to see light before they die since they just see darkness their entire life oarfish may appeared because of a tsunami maybe small and the fishes are normal
