I think cascadia could work, under a few conditions.

A) it’s very well positioned for trade with Asia and the USA. That is if the USA is still friendly.

B) cascadia would have to depart with chunks of eastern Oregon and Washington, as those areas are very different from the more liberal coast. This is also why I think incorporating North California, Montana, and Idaho wouldn’t work.

Just my thoughts. This is a great video, keep up the good work.

Bro I find this crazy because I had apthe exact same idea
My idea was to create a country called the confederate republic of Olympia in the areas of Washington state, Oregon, parts of California, parts of Nevada, parts of Idaho and a part of BC Canada.
I had planned everything out for this beautiful country but then I saw this

As a Washingtonian, I fully support this. It’s seemingly a long shot at this point, but everything starts from the ground up.
Q: Would we have our own currency?
Q: What kind of currency would we use?
Q: Should we use the metric or imperial system? (I think we should go metric. It makes more sense mathematically).

Edit: I changed my mind about this I don’t think we should want an independent cascadia because the US is doing good so cascadia as a country would be really difficult for people to adjust.
