Divi VS Elementor 2023

In this video, I take a look at Divi vs Elementor. I look at the UI and how the 2 two page builders differ.

I use Divi because of the UI. Divi only shows me the tools when I need them. The floating editor and the closing bar at the bottom is what made me choose it. It feels less cluttered. I tried Elementor in the past when I was choosing my builder but I didn't like the UI so much. But as with everything at the end it's a personal preference.

I tried both last year, but I stick to DIVI since then. I think DIVI gets my mindset. It's "naturally" working for me.

Thank you for this video and examples of both page builders. I've used Elementor for the last 6 years and have gotten use to it. However, someone gifted me an unlimited version of DIVI and I am not sure if, even for free, it's worth it. I like easy, quick and a smooth UI. Your video helped me to see the stark differences in both. Appreciate this!

Hello Mak - I think you've fallen a bit in love with Elementor, maybe also because you need a new challenge and want to offer something more than just DIVI videos :-) But for me you still remain the man who has given me DIVI best so far explained.

I tested Elementor in the free version and I see the advantages you describe. But because I've been working with DIVI for so long, I won't switch to Elementor and live with DIVI's weaknesses.

In the end it is as you say - everyone has to find the best solution for themselves. What he works best with and which tool he masters best. I really hope that you will continue to make DIVI videos and not become quite the Elementor man ;-)

Compared to coding from scratch, master both! Heck of a lot easier and time consuming! Divi's lifetime deal is pretty awesome 👍

Mak, FYI: I use the Wireframe view and love it. I am also a Lifetime member and I would be very disappointed if the Wireframe view was removed. :)

"em" in typography is pronounced as a word. As in the "em" in "them" vs each letter "e" "m". It comes from "em space".

i usually use elementor. and now, my new company uses divi. in a few days I'll start my new job using divi. i think i will have a lotttt work to do when use divi than when i use elementor.

I have a question for you : How did you manage to have this black header bar with "+ new" / "Edit page" and "Exit/Edit Visual Builder" ? I use to have it but now the support from wordpress did some changes on my account and I do not have it anymore 😢 Do you have an idea ?

I use both. Divi is for easy and Quick to set up website with not much customization.

With elementor, there are much more possibilities of customization.

I am designing a website for my new business. And I decided to do it with divi. god I regret. I really really regret and I am looking for a video to show me how to migrate for elementor.

Using Divi is too time consuming as there are not as many functionalities than elementor and need to add a lot of extensions or code to have something nice.

To sum up : divi = easy and basic websites

Elementor = Best for advanced websites or funnels.

I wish Divi would just make this a simple setting to autosave when switching to different sections, rows or module.

If you can't beat them join them. Elementor PRO is a rip compared to divi lifetime.

I was die hard divi and switched to elementor a did notice that I was building websites faster but I would not of been that fast if I didn't learn through divi first. I just am finding it hard to justify the price as that could be an extra paycheque every year if I just stick with divi. hmm.

Anyone else in this dilemma?

Divi is so good and better than elementor because elementor is over priced and not worth it 😂
