I am a retired librarian in the US and would love to see a feature on interesting libraries in historic homes. Books that are old are not necessarily rare and vice versa. What did people collect that's unique or extensive on a given topic? Thanks 😘

I love this idea of covering houses with specific topics. Royal connections, ghosts, servant lives/duties (in particular showing how things used to be done with old equipment/techniques) are all very interesting subjects. It might also be interesting to do a show on architects or architectural style and craftsman who built and crafted the houses/castles you include. Thank you for sharing this marvelous content! 🌷

I love knowing or learning how people lived in the past in their old houses, both upstairs and downstairs. Cooking, cleaning, eating, dressing as well as hobbies.

What a brilliant mix, houses, servant life, attics, stories, royals and Julie. Perfect combination.

I took a two week class at Oxford University through the Smithsonian in 1985. We visited Chaselton House, which had untouched Jacobean Architecture and decor. This home is now a National Trust property. I hope that you will visit this location as an example of the architecture and how the lack of funds can impact maintenance and repairs. This home obviously had an impact on me, since I clearly remember visiting all of these years later.

I'm excited to learn about the ghosts. I worked at Colonial Williamsburg for nearly seven years, and my coworkers and I each had our own ghost encounter stories. One in particular visited me at work frequently and was quite mischievous.

Love the idea. However, if you are only going to do two episodes per historic house, I hope they will be longer videos. Otherwise, I don't think it will do them justice. And yes, the attics & basements/cellars and outbuildings are extremely interesting. As well as their gardens of course.

I hope you’ll include the gardens in your exploration of these historic homes because some you’ve mentioned have superb & very beautiful gardens.

It would also be nice to see how if one were to come visit one of these castles/historic homes, how and who would we contact? Julie's way of expressing herself is such a gift in that she not only leave any stone unturned, but her content building keeps you coming back for more. Thank you, American Viscountess!

I love how your channel has emerged from quite a simple, "beginners"style (at the start) to becoming quite grandiose and incredibly professional! It's lovely to watch the metamorphosis and good on you for always persevering and putting in the hard work! Congratulations...it's going to be wonderful I'm sure! 🤩🤗☺💖👏👏👏

Gardens, gardens, gardens! These historic houses/castles often come with lovely ones, usually designed by someone of note. Love to see this if it works with your episodes.

I was a member for two years of “friends of historic houses” and it is well worth the dues to become a member. It was wonderful to be able to tour and see homes that aren’t always tourist attractions.

Love the new concept. Exploring the historic houses and adding additional content 👌. Especially like attics, ghosts, film and upstairs/downstairs. Honestly, I was a little concerned when I learned of the special announcement today. Also, nice to see Luke with you.

Absolutely love the idea of this format. It would be interesting to hear more about the special books in the historic libraries too and how the staffing has changed over the years

Fantastic to hear all of this. A more formalized regular release and format gives us something to look forward to each week.. and love the idea of theme based episodes. Greatly looking forward to future videos! Hoping for a collection of historic houses recipes and ultimately a cookbook that I can add to my collection!!! 🙏

I love this idea and am very excited for all the changes and future episodes of American Viscountess. A suggestion for an episode: The Kitchens of different historic houses! Mapperton's kitchen is one of my favorites so I would love to see the kitchens of other country houses and see if they have Agas too.
