im just starting a landscaping business in new england. our season is not 3 months its 7, minimum. it could even be 9 or 10 depending on what you are doing. some companies can even go all winter depending on what they do.

To elaborate on you last point, this business isn't successful because a business person such as yourself did analytics and noted the margins and completely forgot those human beings that are worth their weight in gold. You see these humans as pesky margin blockers when in fact they will have work in any era no matter what the analytics say.
