Yup, some people will say you need wealthy parents or millions of dollars to start a business but you don’t. Start small and build gradually. I started my tree business out of a car with some basic climbing and rigging gear, and a chainsaw. One of the first jobs I did I loaded tree brush into my trunk and the backseat to haul it away. And if you want to grow faster while still staying financially secure, get a part-time or full time job and work on your business during your free time.

Man I did the same thing, I had my little s-10 and loved it. Started with push mower electric equipment and w.e else could get my hands on. Doing hedges, mowing, trimming, fall cleanups. And loved it. I quit my full-time landscaping job that was doing for about 6 years to start my own. Moved back to NC and sold it all along with my accounts. Now wishing everyday to start it again. But with the right amount of money and the perfect gear

Keith inspired me a ton to start my own business, i appreciate what he does for others by giving out great knowledge and building peoples confidence in themselves. But let's be for real. You can't even get a used lawn mower for under 100 anymore. I started with mostly free or very cheap used equipment, but even if someone gave you a free mower, trimmer, and blower, it still costs you money. At the very least, a new air filter, fuel filter, spark plug, and oil change on all 3... plus gas cans, gas, 2 stroke oil, trimmer string, business cards/flyers you're still over $100. Regardless, if you're going into business with the intentions of spending the least amount possible you've already failed. You have to invest in yourself.

Best advice I can give...BUY THE BEST QUALITY EQUIPMENT THAT YOU CAN AFFORD.

Man Keith ive had to retire earlier than I wanted to. I am 50 still in good shape. I’ll get probably less than 4 gs a month not including health ins. I have my LLC, my website brother but it’s scary having to start over .I have faith !with some old fashioned hustle and hard work the customers will exceed my 1 and only customer which is my sister-in-law @ the moment

I love this! My grandma loaned me $350 in 1996. I worked for myself for 22 years before moving on to new things. Its all up to the individual how well they do. Unlimited sources for how to make it happen on youtube. I wish more people would give it a real go.
