there is a 90% chance that the friend will find out their partner is cheating anyway during their lifetime. do you want to be blamed for siding with their partner or arther ex?
Another dumb one is with the parenting, you need to be there for your child, but not spoil them. Tough love is mostly neglect in a way and gentle parenting is mostly used as an exuse to never descipline.
There is no such thing as speech without consequences. Sure, you may not be held legally liable, but that doesn't mean that you won't upset someone, who will harm you. Also, you may be held liable, if you plan out a crime or talk about shooting someone.
Money cannot buy happiness, but without it you cannot survive. Being a billionaire means that you will be unhappy, but having 3 million to buy a house and be secure is way better

I actually compare money to a video game. Well, life is the video game and money is the cheat that allows you to level up extremely fast and complete all of the quests(obstacles). When you are done with everything( when things become too easy), you get bored and the game is no longer as interesting as it was. That's why many rich people went and commit terrible things in the name of "living life"( YOLO, live as if any day was always the last day of you life, take risk in order to progress, and blah, blah, blah...). They are just bored and no longer know what "true" happiness feels like(What's the point of living if you are not happy? Or what's the point of money if it doesn't allow you to get away with nearly anything?) That's their philosophy( for most).

id be pretty damn happy if I didn't have to worry about buying a house and when my next paycheck is coming. money cant buy happiness is dumb. if you're greedy you'll never be happy that's different. give me 100k rn ill be happy and you'll never hear from me again.

youre protecting your own friend's happiness by telling him that his partner is cheating. for the next one, itd file a lawsuit (if the company is at LEAST multi-million) and sue.. then make more money lol
