Bombay Tilts Down by CAMP | Kochi Muziris Biennale 2022-23

Показать описание
“Bombay Tilts Down,”- the multi-channel video installation by CAMP presents a landscape filmed by a remotely controlled CCTV camera atop a 35-floor building in South-Central Mumbai.
This is a 13m 14s looped, seven-channel video installation with music haunted by sirens and poets. The videos take the viewers through skies and seas and various parts of the stacked and layered Parel and Worli neighborhood. When people appear in the images, many seem aware of this eye in the sky, and a new pact is acted out between the subject and the camera. The potential of such relations drives this work, which is part of CAMP’s long-term investigations into the histories and futures of the moving image, housing, infrastructure, and pleasure.
Where: Admin Block, Aspinwall House
When: Until 10th April 2023
This project is co-commissioned by the Nam June Paik Art Center
Video Lab Support- Kiran Nadar Museum of Art
