A little tip: rest at an inn before you do this. Once you arrive, find the ballista. Kill the dragon with two to three bolts. If this is done, you unlock the amazing Wild Furie skill and a super OP weapon that the dragon drops. If you mess up, load the save from the inn until you succeed.
