ABOUT TABITHA: A young, inquisitive female witch who enjoys leading a normal mortal life is the central character of this romantic fantasy series. Tabitha is the story of the bewitching Samantha's daughter, who has grown up. It's 1977 and Tabitha (Lisa Hartman), 22, is lovely, high-spirited and works as a TV production assistant. Tabitha's brother Adam (David Ankrum), the TV station's assistant manager, who is a mere mortal and constantly afraid the world will find out his sister is a witch, urges her to put away her witchy ways and live a normal life. But Tabitha's eccentric Aunt Minerva (Karen Morrow), an attractive witch in her mid 30s, takes her duty as Tabitha's guardian seriously, and encourages Tabitha to use her gifts for fun and profit, much to Adam's chagrin. Robert Urich and Barry Van Dyke co-star.

The character of Adam wasn't needed here. Particularly making him being the older brother, when it was well known Tabitha was the first born.

i always thought a better format for this would have been that Tabitha's witchcraft was wonky and yet she would persist in trying to use it to try and take the easy road, and her brother Adam, who was a full warlock but had embraced his father's ideals would have to show up and bail her out. Adam's wife was Tabitha's best friend, and though mortal, knew all about witches and warlocks.

The actress favors Elizabeth and sounds a lot like her! In that respect, they did very well.

This was the world's introduction to Lisa Hartman. And here we see Robert Urich right before he got Vegas. Brilliant acting across the board.

My biggest thought regarding the age thing. They could've used Erin to continue the role and see her adventures through her teenage years. That would've been entertaining to see teenage Tabitha navigate through middle/high school.

My question is about Tabitha's supposed age. This series was in the late 70s. Tabiitha was born on Bewitched in the mid 1960s. Yet in this show she is out of college and working putting her at the age of 22-24 - about 7 or 8 years too old because at max 15 years have gone by since she was born on Bewitched. So not only is she magically she obviously had to age much faster than normal and be incredibly smart to skip about 5 grades in school to be working already and on her own, not with her parents. The timing of this show makes no sense!

I met the original Tabitha in Burbank. They used her images from Bewitched, yet they never approached her to do this program.

First of all Adam was also magical secondly he was her younger brother there are so many mistakes in this that one has to wonder if whoever wrote it even saw the show in the first place and I'm talking bewitched.

This show was written poorly and not follow the original Bewitched series. Not even Elizabeth Montgomery don't any part of the show. That why its only lasted one season.

Adam states my younger sister....she was born before him the Bewitched series. I remember watching this series (short lived)😊
