Moments with Elder Kearon

On Dec. 7, 2023, Elder Patrick Kearon was called and ordained as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

Born in England and baptized on Christmas Eve when he was 26 years old, Elder Kearon has served as a General Authority Seventy since 2010, speaking in general conference, leading the Church’s Europe Area and, most recently, serving in the Presidency of the Seventy.

This Church News video, titled “Moments With Elder Kearon,” shares excerpts from some of his addresses.

These include “A More Wonderful World” at Brigham Young University’s April 2019 commencement, “Refuge From the Storm” in April 2016 general conference, and a humorous exchange with then-Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in April 2022 general conference before Elder Kearon’s talk, “He Is Risen With Healing in His Wings: We Can Be More Than Conquerers.”
