I’ve been playing Padel for a short while. I only use the smash, coming from tennis it’s just natural to me. I have to practice the vibora and get in the habit of using it so I can mix the two in matches.

Yet another great video. Well done. For consistency I would always opt for the Vibora over the smash although a good deep flat smash can generate some winners especially at "seniors" and it is good to throw it in sometimes just to keep the opponents guessing.

I think this video might create a mis-conception that smash is better than vibora. As demonstrated in the video, a wrongly executed smash will end up loosing the point as the opponent can take it at the net. A vibora is a "safer" shot as they will be at the back of the court. But to beginners like us, a smash looks more impressive.

I mostly play left but for me there are more suitable opportunities to hit a vibora on the right side (ball going to the left corner). This improved my vibora and I have been using it more since. If you're trying to improve something on your game definitely switch sides from time to time!
