Jinx is definitely alive, the pink flash leaving the explosion, Cait smiling at the air ducts, and the blimp scene that was a callback to her saying she'd ride one someday in the first episode are all I need to see. I just figure she left Piltover to "break the cycle" and let Vi be happy with Cait

While I enjoyed the season as a whole, my main issue is that everything felt somewhat rushed and bloated at the same. I feel like they had way too much story to tell in such a short span. And certain stories basically ended once the next one was introduced.
Vi joining the enforcers and Cait rising to power, clashing with the Undercity to hunt down Jinx, Vi and Jinx teaming up to help Vander. That all could’ve been one season. Then the finale of Victor and Ambessa attacking piltover could’ve been its own season or atleast taken place over a longer span of time and not just two episodes. It was so fast that I honestly forgot why Ambessa was even teaming up with Victor and why they were even fighting.
Idk season 1 was just much more focused on a core group of characters and a core plot line, where as season 2 had too much stuff crammed in

The fact that the only complaint people have of this season was that it wasn’t long enough just proves how good it was written

my main problem with this season is that, while I loved it, is that the conflict of piltover and zaun seemed forgotten, the first season ended with the idea that jinx had become the main villain and that war is coming between piltover and zaun, so for the final battle to be between everyone vs noxus and victor, felt like a bit of a letdown, is still good but is not as interesting as the original conflict in my opinion

2 frames before the explosion you see a slim beam of shimmer coloured light (iconic of Jinx's dash) that leaves the hextower

The things I'd love to see in s 2:
- more of Sevika. I feel like the writers had something planned for her but changed their minds. After saving isha she either disappeared for a long time or was just there as a background character. Where's another fight with such a fancy arm?
- Sevika's and vi's interaction, at least about how they resolve their issue and decide to not be enemies anymore
- Jinx talking to isha's image for the last time like with silco. She doesn't mention the girl after her death. That's strange
- Jinx saving caitlyn before fighting "vander" in the last episode
- Jayce's and caitlyn's last interaction as old friends
- more of jayce and mel. They're a couple, common. They needed a proper goodbye. He made up with victor but couldn't have 1 dialogue with the woman thanks to which he achieved great things and saved the world? These 2 seem to have forgotten about each other
- Ekko's and vi's interaction after powder's death
- Jayce finding out about the fact ekko's responsible for the incident in his apartment
- ekko telling everyone about heimerdinger's sacrifice
- caitlyn apologizing to vi for shit she did to her
- singed should've died
- more of ekko and jinx in the original world. At least 1 convo or flashback of their childhood before the last fight
- more episodes. The last 5 are very rushed with so many characters, conflicts and plotlines. Either there should've been 15+ episodes in the season or make then season 3 about piltover and undercity preparing for a new war, fighting a common enemy and finally making peace after that
- the people jinx rescued from prison should've paid her back and helped her somehow

I know it gets overshadowed by the fact that Jinkx may not be dead at the end, but I’m still partial to how good the beginning of episode nine was where echo was preventing jinx from blowing yourself up.

I actually had more anxiety about going into Act 3 for nothing more than what happened between Cait and Vi. Seeing the end of Episode 3, and then the whole Maddie issue at the start of Episode 4 affected me WAY more than I ever imagined it could. I literally spent a WEEK obsessing over it!!!

Thank god for Eipsode 8!!!!

But....at the same time...I CALLED IT!! I F-ING CALLED IT!!!! Maddie working with

Man this show makes me feel a same feeling i've had watching the Harry Potter movies.
Seeing the characters as their younger and more "innocent" selves, then grow up and more mature, and change as their world also changes, and become those strong-willed and wise people that they are in the end.
It feels like watching each of their life story, it just gives you a sense of growth and accomplishment, you're almost proud of them.

i think jinx is alive. Act 3 should have been more focused around jinx and vi but they were given almost no time together

I think they nailed it. I was skeptical, but this was a game changer through and through.

I felt like we basically got the equivalent of an epic movie trilogy within the span of 3 years .

Season 2 was very different but equally amazing .

I feel like the rushed storytelling is likely due to Netflix’s decisions. The same thing happened with Season 2 of Dota: Dragon's Blood. At least they gave us an amazing Season 3 there. In this show, however, you can’t fully feel the emotional depth because there are so many conclusions packed together; it feels overwhelming.

Jinx is alive. It is heavily implied. You see the pink trail. You see cait looking at the blueprint implying they never found any remains of Jinx. She also smirks. Then you have the absolute full circle of an airship that powder said in the very first episode she would fly one day and that's what they end it on. Plus, the jinx glitching right after. She's alive, but this way she allows Vi to have a life outside of her duty to take care of her little sister.

Jayce is not dead either. He's inside of the rune. You see him get poofed into it and later on you see swain his raven go to the rune. If you look close you can see blue edges on the screen as well very quickly as if to say something inside the rune is looking outward. I doubt Viktor is alive but Jayce his body got sucked into it so maybe he is.

An absolute masterclass of a show. Probably the densest 2 seasons of television ever put to screen, and it was amazing the whole way.

such a crazy final act! i like the fact that they spent the time exploring the alternate timeline but agree that some moments felt a little rushed and i don't think it had quite the same emotional punch as series 1.
i did love the end of episode 8 when viktor starts the evolution and vander's memories start to disapear, especially with that haunting twenty one pilots song 'The Line' playing in the background, such an emotional moment. I love how intertwined the music and visuals are in Arcane and i'm excited to see they're releasing a music video 'The Line' soon

people who say Jinx wouldn`t escaped even if she had a chance, are convinced that had lost any hope or will to live, but the interesting detail that may be pointing to her still having something to hold to, is the design of her clothes after she makes an etrance on a balloon: after Isha`s dead we see her top losing the X symbol, which may imply on the identity crisis even severer than the one of Powder\Jinx, but at the balloon scene we see it again present but painted on her clothes, to someone as me who really refuses to accept her death its a small but formidable hint of her having a reason and will to start anew
