🎬 ON TODAY'S MANUAL: The Zoom MS 50g has been officially discontinued, guys.. It's been quite a journey. This pedal was the first pedal sized multistomp capable of performing a huge number of effects, some of them all at once. you can always buy any used Zoom (MS, CDR GX1, B1Xon with exp pedal, etc) pedal from this series and the ones before it and hack it and just load the effects and amp models you want on it...

I am so glad I never sold mine. About the dsp : shoegaze often likes to sound 8(?) bit from midiverb ii rather then 24 bit from midiverb iv. So the sound might not get better for some algorythms in new Zoom forms. Maybe this lofi sound from ms50g will get boutique and unique. Ms50 G can now go and rest forever in gear heaven, cosy with the midiverbs.

I think the MS-50G+ (plus) is as good as this one and even better, at least for me! It isn't as powerful as the old one but it has better sound quality for sure. It'd be amazing if line 6 released an hx stomp with this size, but with the ability to use at least 5 effects at a time, not like the hx one which you can only use one. Cheers! great vid

I saw this coming when they announced the new one and picked one up to compliment my MS-70CDR. I know I can edit the firmware to get any effect, but I couldn't fit them all on at once.

I have ms-50g, ms-70cdr and ms-60b, i use them all the time. It's true that eventually the real deal pedals are better than their zoom emulations, but they do the job and having one at the end of the pedal chain is like having a swiss army knife for one-off weird fx or special reverbs you need for specific songs. They are great, it's a shame they're discontinued, for what i've seen the new ones sound Better but don't have as much weird fx stuff in them...

Just got mine last month and immediately modded it. Love it so much it offers mods, delays and reverbs that are much better than my valeton gp-200. I have it in gp’s send/return.

I have ms50 and ms70. Love both and currently use it on my board 🙌

I had one for years. Talk about versatile! However over time I accumulated enough pedals that filled in most of the things it did (and better) so I sold it.

Any recommendations for another pedal that can replace this. Im forming a shoegaze/drone board after not playing for two decades. I recently bought two zoom ms70cdr, and im planning another two zoom ms50g, so also open to other pedals.
