This is helpful, thanks for sharing. I haven't experimented a ton with the amp sims because I like the intrinsic tone of my amp setup, but this inspires me to try them some more. What I've been doing instead is using the Sweet Drive patch for edge-of-breakup tones; it is nicely sensitive to picking and the volume control. Love it. In fact I use two MS-50Gs for wet and dry, and a mixing pedal to blend them. Works a treat. And yeah, the Exciter is tremendous, too.

Great demo. Edge of breakup is where these amp modellers really shine, and nobody demos them that way.

Recently purchased the MS-50G that I plan to use with a Henriksen Bud 6 amp. I am trying to keep my equipment weight low. Although relatively old, I could not see a more compact versatile effect unit than the MS-50G. I normally play hollow body archtops. Not much experience with effects pedals. Just looking for good clean sound, and keeping things under control in a bar room.

Nice video! I don't own the MS-50G, but I do have a G5 so this will be helpful to an old metal guy with a growing interest in exploring some cleaner tones. Really makes me want an unmodded Strat as well. I put a humbucker in my '62 Reissue a long time ago, and the other SSS guitars I own are all knock-offs.

Nice sounding 😊 . Please put some analog drives in it. I wanna hear how it sounds. Maybe with boss sd1, ts808 or jhs drives and some strymon reverbs that would be cool for 😊😊😊

I got a MS-50G about 5 years ago, after I missed some Zoom G5 FX's, after switching to all pedals and tube amp. G5 and MS-50G seems to share a lot of same FX. but not same editor.
I'll have to check out that editor. I'm assuming it's Free ... somewhere?
