The Mustang Mach E would have been received WAY differently if it was just called the “Ford Mach-E”

The GR Supra is no way a rebadged Z4
The design, handling, and engine tuning is drastically different as it was done by Toyota
It is an amazing sports car but it needs a manual transmission

I am convinced the Mk5 Supra will become a beloved classic faster than it took the Mk4 Supra to become one. People now just have a hard time accepting it's mostly a BMW, but the car in itself is incredibly well balanced and fun, and the B58 inline-6 is as tunable and strong as the 2jz was. The new Supra is probably the best sports car Toyota ever sold besides the LFA.

Holden zb commordore aka vauxhall insignia. It was released as the replacment model for the 2017 Zeta Platform Commodore. However it was met with HEAVY backlash so much so that an ex factory worker bought a zb commodore posted it online and got sent death threats which is messed up. Ive tried the vehicle myself i liked it. But in australia and nz it caused massive controversy amongst fans and lack of intrest from the mass market due to suv cross overs utes and pickups that ultimatly led to vehicle being cut from holdens line up forever.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and the new Ford Puma are controversial over here in Europe. Both cars used a known nameplate and got turned into Crossovers
