Common TD logic is that your earliest towers gets the most shots at the enemy. You never want your highest level defences in the back, as you won't have time to do an emergency response.
Generally you want something with slow and/or splash in the front, your main damage in the places where they get most enemy path coverage, and something slow firing with heavy dmg in the back for the few stragglers that make it through your main kill area.

in my experience with games like this where you have a set enemy path and set tower emplacements, generally it's better to put more towers early on before upgrading the ones you have, as that increases the amount of the path that's covered by your towers

the lasers work on the swarm you just have to change their priority off of air

Lasers deal more damage the more time they hit an enemy, so combo that with a Tesla to keep them in laser target for more time

use the shieldman, it distracts the bees! the lasers should work but bugged confirmed by the dev. how i beat it was 2 miniguns at the end lots of rockets for anti air 2 lasers and spam shieldmen to distract the bees so rockets can take down swarm

I felt that sting. Ive also made the mistake of smacking a bee down. Bad idea. Guess we had to learn the hard way.

The swarm of bees, despite being comprised of "air units" is a boss and counts as a ground unit. Gotta take the lasers off air priority and they'll target the swarm more consistently.

Yeah, keep playing this one to completion. Its a great watch. I liked you trying something new with your last video where you did multiplayer, but it doesn't watch as well as these click games, new games, tower defense, rogue lights, interesting gems you seem to find.

I beat it with all lasers in the back 6 spots and cannons on the starting 4 spots.
Upgrade the last 4 as priority because they will be doing most the dmg.
The lasers wont shoot swarm 1 or 2 unless priority is set to 1, not air defense.
You can slow down the last swarm with soldiers, alot of soldiers.
The swarm will transforms in to a hammer to attack soldiers, and while it does this, it stops and performs its attacks halting the forward progression.
If you have no soldiers you cannot deal with the speed the last swarms got to base as it does not slow down to transform and attack..
