The drumming on "You can't always get" is absolutely bad ass, RIP CHARLIE!!! You will be missed!!!

Their 1972 tour was one of the best ever in my opinion; just coming off the release of Exile; they were on top of the world. They were tight...but loose, funky, raw, bluesy, aggressive and gentle. I love it when Mick and Keef share the mic and just bust those vocals out. Keef's voice even sounded great here; raw yet perfect for the songs. Rock and Roll and it's finest!!

The You Can’t Always Get What You Want on here is SICK. Love the slow funkiness of it. Gorgeous music.

I feel for the younger generation that never got to see the stones live in the 70s quite a few left that did see them in the 60s. Anaheim Stadium some girls both days hot hot hot. Kids don’t know what it’s like open stadium seating we took AMTRAK all the way to San Diego for the start me Up tour all the way from San Jose… I had my acoustic guitar I had already learned dozens and dozens of stone songs on the guitar after playing Oboe for 13 years. Open stadium seating we could go anywhere in the entire stadium from the front of the stage to the back of the stadium at the very top. But on Amtrak… They said get your guitar… We went to the bar car the observation car they bought me beers they entire trip and we smoked pot the entire time almost singing Beatles and the stones songs getting high and drinking beer… We can’t smoke pot on AMTRAK anymore :-) 2012 Oakland oracle one night after my dad passed. He was dying and he kept asking me are you going to the Rolling Stones concert? I said no dad I’m not leaving you alone. I was dead tired and I went toto Oakland and Mick Taylor guest starred on Midnight Rambler :-) he actually signed one of my lyric books when he played in Long Beach.

A band that doesn’t play live shows is only half a band as far as I’m concerned.

Last time I saw the Stones I noticed that the family next to us had Mum and Dad, the kids and the Grandparents . So no chance of them being forgotten for years to come. Amazing to see 3 generations loving the same vibe !

Wow. This was like stepping back in time to my teenager years and it's so sad because it's over and never coming back for me or the rolling stones but I wouldn't trade it for anything, I was so so lucky to have live through that period and was old enough to make it and young enough to still be here to brag about it

More than tremendous! Ive seen this clip a few times.., but each time it moves me. The band, all of them, are so in the moment! All so skilled. Just perfection in rock n roll!

Shattered is an incredible song, very weird for its time and still now. This version is stunning on every level.

The Stones obviously have been a great band for years. But, in my humble opinion, there is just something a bit more special to their work from the period of 1969 to 1975.
It's like they really came into their own in this period.
