Hey guys, in this video, I talk through my updated credit card roadmap for 2024 to maximize value. Further than that, I show you how to do the same using the exact spreadsheet I created to manage my credit card setup. There are 3 main credit cards that I want to apply for in the remainder of this year, 1 I will be product changing to, and 2 that I'd plan to eventually add depending on a few factors... all in all, the cards on my roadmap include the Chase Ink Cash, Chase Ink Preferred, World Of Hyatt Business, Ritz Carlton, Southwest Performance Business and Southwest Plus credit cards. In this video, we'll walk through the pros and cons of each of these cards and discuss exactly why I want to apply in the order I've outlined. If you've been wondering about what credit cards I'll be applying for next or "What are some of the best credit cards to apply for right now?", this video is for you.

Great video Spencer! It's always best to have a strategy in the points and miles game. Congrats on the new gf!

My roadmap is kinda weird because I’m going to be moving to Japan for work and 5/24 up until right before I move. So I’m relatively stuck for awhile unless I want to ballon up 5/24 for a No FTF set up I will absolutely need.

Nice Spencer! I’ll also be targeting the Southwest CP for 2025-2026 so we’ll be on that journey together! So happy to hear that you’ve got a travel companion 😉!

Can you consider removing the “background music” from your videos in the future? It’s so quiet anyways and I always feel like it is distracting from you. You’re great and don’t need music present. I keep thinking it’s something outside the video. Love the vids other than that. Hopefully it’s not just me that gets bothered by it, it shouldn’t affect the quality of the viewership with it gone I don’t think. Thanks for making these vids!

I feel the same way about Chase cards. Those so many good cards and welcome bonuses to get that it’s important for me to be under 5/24 at all times

Good stuff Spencer! Great and interesting thoughts on your process for this years RoadMap!

The biggest problem with the roadmap is you'll always find great welcome bonus all the time. And sometimes, it may be more optimal to just apply for the best welcome offer at the given moment.

If you close the southwest cards after 1 year do you still keep companion pass??

Nice roadmap! I did want to point out that you can actually multiple of the same Ink card under the same identity (ssn or tin). I applied for the CIC back in Oct last year and then again in May of this year. I think the only difference was my credit limit was $1k less on my second application. There's lots of other datapoints out there on Reddit and such too! Definitely makes the Ink Train even more valuable to hop on

Now that SW will be changing the boarding seat selection I wonder if the card will have a reorganization of benefits.

Great video! I’m planning on also doing the southwest strategy this year, as you never know if they will nerf it.

Also thank you for the spreadsheet it really helps keeps things organized!

Looking forward to the companion pass video. I’m also saving my last 5/24 slot so I can get that buy 1 get 1 pass for me and my fiance for 2 years.

In the video can you talk about which combination of cards are optimal? For example, best combo for a maximalist that wants all the benefits like priority boarding, and best combo for lowest annual fee companion pass etc..

Also maybe take about how to continuously alternate getting companion pass between p1 and p2
