Here are two tips from a 4th generation dry cleaner on how to remove yellow (sweat) stains from your clothes:

1) Spray 3% hydrogen peroxide, commonly available at supermarkets and pharmacies, onto your yellowed areas and air dry INSIDE overnight
2) Soak your items in hot water (ideally above 140 F / 60 C) and powdered oxygen bleach overnight and then rewash

Protip - Do NOT dry your hydrogen peroxide treated garments in the sun. UV + HP is bad

For the ppl asking about the hot water: U put it in hor water and eventually will get cold and thats ok, just leave the clothes in the water. U dont need to reheat the water all night

I’ve had a stain on my bedroom lamp’s lampshade for literal years (pretty sure from squashing a bug on it when I was younger). I saw this short and sprayed some hydrogen peroxide on it today… the stain is gone! 😭 Feels like magic.

I tried the hydrogen peroxide trick on the yellow stain of my white clothes. At first it worked great, I was so excited, but in a couple weeks somehow the stains appeared again and way worse than they were before. My last resort was using fabric dye, but the treated part of fabric started developing holes out of nowhere.

I did do a few passes with 3% hydrogen peroxide, but it looked like it was completely fine in the moment and I tried to get rid of the yellow as much as possible.

I am so sad, my nice shirts are completely ruined 😭

🎉what about set in older ☕️ stains that have since become yellow or orange 🍊 juice colored. Hydrogen peroxide has lightened the stains but would direct bleach application to each stain fully remove these set in stains ? Or maybe just tea stain or dye the entire shirt 👕? Its white 🤍 btw 😅😂🎉

Use baking soda white vinegar borax and lemon juice. These whitening cleaners remove yellow stains making clothes brighter.

I have a third and fourth easy solution: just keep wearing it with the yellow stains, or buy dark clothing so you’ll never see them 😂
