How To Whiten Your Clothing - Remove Yellow Stains

Knowing how to whiten your clothing with oxygen bleach is super easy and very much worth it, I promise.

There are a few ways to go about this but the most effective way to whiten your clothing is to soak them in oxygen bleach and hot water overnight. Oxygen bleach works its magic very slowly so letting it soak for 8 hours+ is ideal. You must must must use hot water too, oxygen bleach does not work well in cold environments.

I’d always recommend cleaning your item first and getting it as stain free as possible. That’s because oxygen bleach focuses on correcting the color and not removing the physical stain.

I repeated this process twice for this hat and the results were much better than I expected.

Other ways to use oxygen bleach include spraying down a washable garment with hydrogen peroxide and let it air dry (hit it with some hot air from a hair dryer to speed up this process) and adding oxygen bleach into the washer drum during a washing cycle. Again, use hot water if you’re doing this.
