Having such a long career being an ADC he definitely knows what an ADC wants from a support and his experience overall (not necessarily as adc but as a player) will transition to decision making on a much more impactful role. Of course he still lacks the experience in the role itself on a pro level especially when it comes to engage supports but excited to see what he can accomplish.

The decision makes perfect sense, the timing doesn’t. He was just finding his groove, the team stuck with him after a bad split and now he swaps. I think it will be a great decision longterm

He isnt dropped from fnatic. Only benched for the next split. He is moved to the inactive roster as per a fnatic employee. So, in winter he can play, probably to mitigate risk for the next split

I think he will make it further being a support than an ADC 100%, Im hyped for him.

Adcs and Mid laners switching to Support is almost always a good thing. Hope it works out for him

Support role will give him more agency, more control and a wider available pool of champions to play. He has actually said years ago that if he started playing now, he’d have preferred to be a support. (Or something along those lines)

Anyways, excited for him. Hopefully he is still as hungry as ever for growth and for winning.

I think he said "it's good to be home" because they support him in the decision, but I do not think he expected anything else than being benched. Taking down Advienne because of this would make no sense. He surely understand he must proven him self first.

I mean he will be for sure a good support, i mean he also plays it in soloq often the like janna and stuff. But i cant imagine rekkles playing stuff like tresh, rakan, etc at a high level (which obv can change as he trys it and gets better) but i am just afraid he will be only enchanter main. And if he actually manages to be a high level support in the LEC it self lets see. I doubt he manages to get like top 3 or will ever be able to get there in my opinion atleast. but im interested how far he can go as a support cuz i also had the feeling that since he left FNC after worlds where he literally was probably the best botlane in the whole tournament with hyli with such an insane chemistry, sadly he went to g2 and since then i felt like he just stagnated and cant reach higher espacially because he in my eyes doesnt change his gameplay/playstyle or modernise it a bit.
Still very hyped and interested in where he is heading next because i cant think of him just sitting now in a bench after the fnc comeback which he was so happy for. Eventhough now leaving would feel weird too but who knows.

i think this will take him far, its like he said with zven doing the swap also i can remember in the early days of rekkles career yellowstar doing the swap and being an good support almost instantly too. I just hope an team in LEC will give him the chance for summer

Will he take more risks and plays as a support player than an adc player tho? Because in my mind, that’s what defines a good support, besides map awareness and control, and jungle synergy.

He will prob do really well. Adc mains have an idea of what they want in a support, so he can probably play as the ideal support

We're literally in a period wherein ADC champs are being used as support.
Rekkles can take advantage of that to slowly adjust to that role.

He is not aggressive enough for an engage support "at least yet" but he to his adc playstyle does have a lot in common with enchanters, so that's a good start for him i'd say.

His most acurrate Problem was always to lead his team to victory, he said it so often himself and Support is one of THE Roles where he has to lead and making use of the Agency...
got mixed feelings ... i cant see him as the Playmaker who can carry games, like Hylissang or MikyX
