yup that's fair. esports orgs are still businesses and they need a player that has good public opinions that they can market. Good public opinion makes good publicity, sells merchs, and patronizable, if i may say. He does have dedicated fans and supporters but other player's fans might only focus blame on Nemesis when opportunity comes. Nemesis have said that his main goal is still to lift the trophy but he also stated that he is earning a lot more now in streaming than when he was playing in the pro scene, so that is a factor as well.

A mid tier team is what he needs to prove himself to get better offers, i get he feels he deserve a top team cuz fnatic did good, but thats years ago now. Get back out there and prove he indeed deserve a top tier team by clapping their mids if thats the case

i think he has to prove himself on mid tier teams to caught the atention of higher tier teams, althought he's constantly challenger, he's been off proplay for a good time. i'd love to see him performing again.

Honestly he was very underrated he was viewed a top 2 mid in eu, and was able to hold himself against caps at his peak

Nemesis is legit a world ranker midlaner man, and im not talking solo queue, like this person is one of the best, if not the best midlaner EU has to offer with actual pro play credentials as well. He is the best EU has to offer, but egos clash and they dont want to let him be on top, they rather have a subservient washed Caps as the poster boy of EU

I think Nemesis case is pretty interesting and I can understand his decision that he doesnt want to join a low or mid tier Team. Pro Play in the end is all about money, those Players dont do it for free and if you have to decide between joining a low/mid Team and not winning anything or streaming and earning more money than those Players from those Teams, I would also consider not joining a Team and keep streaming. If Nemesis only wants to join Pro Play again if he gets picked by a high tier Team, earning atleast the same amount of money as he does with streaming and atleast having the chance to win trophies, thats totally fine for me. Lets be real, what are the benefits from beeing a Pro Player? For People who probably still went to school or had a regular job, its the money, but what are the benefits for Nemesis if he would join a Team that doesnt win anything? There are only downsides for him. Joining Pro Play isnt fun at all. You pretty much give your real life up. You move to germany (in LECs case), maybe you life in a Gaminghouse, maybe you have your own Apartment, you pretty much leave your family and friends behind, you dont really have much time for yourself because you have to Scrim with your team, you have to participate on team activities which are outside of the game, you dont even have free on your weekend since you have to participate on the game and so on. It really isnt worth for Nemesis. Streaming gives you much more free time. Actually in germany we have a really big case right now. In germanys Prime League second division was a Team called "NNO - No Need Orga", it was a Team full of streamers. Team NNO actually won the Prime League and got promoted to Prime League division 1. The highest german League of Legends Pro Play. The entire Team was hyped for the first division but when they found out they were not allowed to stream, there was a big drama between the Team and Riot Games. Long story short, all 5 Players deciced to not participate and so they had to search for players that will replace them. They also rather stream instead of participating on the first division. Its all about the money and how stressful your life would be, compared to how its now.

It's weird, because I always thought Nemesis was a pretty good successor to caps.
He did as well of a job as you could have, considering WHO he was replacing.
That being said, literally every single snippet I ever see on youtube from his stream is so frickin negative.
I find it depressing to watch him, and idk if I'd want someone like him in my team.

TBH I dont think Nemesis wants to become a pro again thus not really caring about his public image, otherwise he would've have instantly accepted LS's offer to join C9 when LS became a coach. But he denied to offer because he wanted to continue streaming.

btw nemesis admitted he was really bad compared to now, plus everyone was shitting on him i think social is a big reason aswell.
Not going on a mid/low team showing off how good he was is the big issues imho. He didnt perform and stopped there,
Take a look at the example of Nisqy. Permaflamed, didnt find a team for ages, but he proved everyone wrong

To me nemesis is too cocky to be in a team, at least is the vibe that gives me. Same with LS, they know everything all the time and can't ever be wrong about anything is incredible

Nemesis has the emotion range of a shovel. You dont want a player like this in your team, it kills the team aspect of the thing. Hes either neutral or negative. Thats not a team player.
